Internationale Meisterschaft IX

All teams present discussed and agreed to an adjustment to the usual format which would now see the Sportscars compete in a rare endurance race – testing the reliability of both model and finger. For the first time in Scratch32 history every participant was also truly a scratch built model – customized bodies with custom paint & inkjet decals covering custom made wire and brass chassis. This grid was truly original – and fast. Furthermore it was agreed that any ‘off’ would result in a ‘crash’ ending that model’s heat – what some call ‘crash & burn’ – therefore marshals were not needed and sent back to the counter. Fritz Stroebl was giddy in race heaven – his type of grid – racing his favourite format… let’s go!!!
