Five builders with five Ferrari 312P models (and additional Classic Era Prototype placeholders) made up a field of IROC entries for this inaugural Scratch32 Challenger Series at Nova Ridge Motorsports Park. Builders gathered from around the GTA to showcase their open wheel models at Ringwood. Indy Roadsters debuted in this series to accompany the usual assortment of Grand Prix models from 1950 through to 1980. Indy roadsters did feature first in our American Thunder series a few months earlier but this time they would run along with other open wheelers for the first time at Ringwood.
