This 1949 Lindberg Ford Tudor Coupe might be the most prolific model in this club with many fine examples.  Having built two already, I had a third kit sitting in my cabinet for about three years.  Due to an abundance of time with the shelter in place orders, I circled my wagons back to it and decided it would make a bright hot rod with a BWA slimline motor.

Many thanks to Ken, who took the time to assist on this build.

The BWA motor is simply glued onto the chassis with epoxy.  Gearing is 10P x 23P

Looking forward to racing this model.

    Thanks for looking.

What? An orange with no “orange peel”? Nice paint finish!

Intersting colour choices. It sure makes for an original Hot Rod.

Nice work on the paint and full assembly!

What’s the weight before adding any?

        Cheers,

        Ken

The scale tips at 71 grams for this model, prior to adding any weight.  However, I’m not sure if much weight will be required, if any.  It handles very well as is.  Both front and rear tracks are just under the limit as per the rules.

The body height sits perfect. Fred Steinbroner in Tudor #18 might be about to meet his match.

Congrats on Tudor number three! Crap, I only have two… Hmm

Great job Jim.  The colour really pops.  Reminds me I should post my finished Tudor that I started 15 months ago.

Just having fun with a fantasy livery.

              Thanks

I can almost see it now. Soon there’s going to be a “Tudor World Championship” in Tudorville Ontario.

              Art has several?

              JMSracer has three.

              JimO has at least one.

              Dave has two.

              I have two.

              JonnyRocket has one.

              Steve has one.

There may be more lurking about…

Dave. I think your red-rocket might be the fastest in the group. You have a slightly bigger motor than the rest of us (V8). :good:
