Considering the apparent quality of the parts, including a milled brass chassis plate, it seems quite reasonable.

Thanks for the heads up Gary. Given all that is included that price seems quite reasonable. I have watched this 1:1 car race many times, both as a child and more recently at Vintage races. I’m sure I have tons of pictures of it. It is a fascinating car both from a design standpoint and an historical one. Perhaps more on that later.
