  1. Thanks for another great evening of racing everyone. Nice to see Joe and Jim out, hopefully we are slowly returning to fuller fields for events as we move into the fall. Thanks for the Daytona coupe Ken, great door prize!!

  2. Thanks guy’s for a fun night of racing good to see some people I haven’t seen since this Covid crap. My stuttering car problems where traced to a broken sweeper wire in my controller, so remember take care of your controller and it will take care of you!!!
    Joe

  3. Extremely clean racing throughout this event.
The Packard Trophy was decided by less than 0.1 seconds after more than 10 minute rotations… Awesome!
The fastest + class had a fast lap of more than .3 seconds over the low power motor class… which only translated into just more than a 5 lap lead…
One of our well placed overseas proxy participants finished 5 laps behind several of our own top runners using the same tires…
Marshaling was very relaxed, the three pizzas from Dominos were just OK (my favourite was the pepperoni with tomato, roasted red peppers and onion) but there was lots of it, the snacks were exceptional (especially the home made honey cake) and the movie was pretty good – The Quick and the Dead – from 1974 Grand Prix Racing hosted by Jackie Stewart on Amazon…
We had a late arrival and started around 7:20 but still wrapped up by 9:05…
All in all a very relaxed race evening with great company.
Bring on the balance of 2021!!!

  4. Art,
Thanks a million for hosting a fantastic race! It was a blast!
The DArt McLaren M1B is a nice slot car platform, and did well for the first night out. Decals will be applied shortly.
