The Paddock

The Race

And they are off!

Action was frantic, even in the paddock. Pilot changes and substitutions proved to be unusually challenging and the streak of crossed wires continued while for the first time four controllers graced three stations over a single heat. Thankfully no models were sacrificed although two would suffer gearbox issues and others would simply shed cosmetic parts (headlights, brake levers and fenders) in an effort to add less weight thereby improving overall performance – or at least so the story goes…

Race Results

In one of the closest Coppa D’oro finishes ever not only did a PGP model take the overall victory but the top five all finished on the same lap with just over 5 seconds separating first to fifth!!! And just 2 laps separated the top 10!!! Wow!!!
