    • NSR 917 White Kit FINALLY got around to finishing a 'White Kit' I painted and mostly decaled a long time ago...was in the "To be completed" group(along with many others) :>) Anyway, done...Took a while to configure a Pioneer driver as the NSR pilot just doesn't look right proportion, but it is a very nice kit. Will no doubt be waaay underpowered in the 'unlimited VLM' class, but so be it.

    • …and another thing… Since we were speaking about Sunbeams and Ken’s kit that he will hopefully mold yesterday I thought I’d post a pic of my 1/24 Sunbeam Tiger. It is complete with Maxwell Smart and shoe phone. Hands free devices weren’t required by law in the 60’s ;) The old Revell chassis under a model kit trick!

    • Speaking of Indycar Here is a project I’ve had plans to do for the last 20 or more years! I stripped the paint on this model some time in the 90’s and it has been sitting patiently in a box awaiting paint and decals. Well the time has finally come!

    • Ford Escort Mk1 with KRZ chassis Not sure what forum sub group to post in but this seemed most appropriate.  This car started out as a circa 1990s model.  A friend of mine then painted and decaled it several years ago, I fitted a PCS plastic chassis, Pendle wheels but was never happy with it until a Ken's KRZ chassis arrived. Finished (almost) car below. One the moderator approves I will show the chassis build.

    • The only road-legal Porsche 917 in the world? Count Gregorio Rossi (Martini & Rossi) was once photographed driving his road legal Porsche 917 from Stuttgart to Paris. That finally explains why Fly made this car. I've always thought it was interesting, But never knew it actually existed.   The body has an external ID number making it legal for R32 Classic LeMans. The licence plate counts as a number. The last 2-digits are #37.

    • Can Am Lola I had a hard time trying to make the white lines without damaging the blue painting job, my masking needs experience and improvements so I had to do corrections that did not come out as expected

    • 70 TA Camaro colour change I have a blue Z28 Camaro for stock TA class. There are several of the exact same colour and number. It was time to create Ken's red zed. It took 2-coats of paint over 2-days to cover the dark blue. I could not avoid orange-peel on the roof. More paint would have created runs and the rest of the car was too nice to ruin. I'll try buffing the roof.

    • Who let the cats out? I stumbled into 3-white Scalextric 1967 Cougars. One of the possible plans was to make IROC cars using BWNC1's. I can use the stock 18k motors elsewhere. But the gearing was eluding me so the project went back on the shelf. JMSracer helped me figure out how to gear these properly. The plan is once again in motion. Thanks JMSracer! The colours are: Fiery-tangerine, chrome yellow, and candly lime green. The tangerine Cougar was painted before the IROC idea was thought of. It was painted by Marty at Group-25 when he showed me how to paint. It was the snow-flake that started the avalanche. Thanks Marty! They all have working head/tail lights. An extention of night-racing? Time will tell.

    • Chaparral 2A Not really scratch built but I will ask for forgiveness later :unsure: The Strombecker body I have had for years and always meant to paint plus I had a spare strombecker brass chassis.  I opted to use a 1/32 set up which has worked out well.  Motor is a Plafit Fox 11 (25k). Gears are slot-it. Wheels and inserts are BWA - though they are not quite right but they were in my spare box.  Tires are DArts.  Windscreen is cracked but a Future treatment has improved it while I look for another one (I know, good luck). Anyway, thought I would share.
