Eleven new entries covering 5 classes would descend on the Ring to compete alongside returning entries to form a field of 34 primary and backup runners. Top spot in hot rods was separated by less than 6/10 of a second... the field of sportscars finished within 3 laps while sportscar plus was separated by just a single lap... and more close heats than one can remember in recent memory...

Nearly thirty models across five classes registered and participated in our 14th edition of the Meisterschaft - Hot Rods, Sportscars, Classic Era Prototypes/Sportscars and CANAM beasts - covering more than 50 years of automotive competition. Several models made their official scratch32 debut.

The 7th edition of the Internationale Meisterschaft would see new models in Sportscars (SP & SP+) and CANAM. Several, including Phil Hill in separate Ferrari 290MMs the Jaguar XK120 of the late S. Diaz and Jim Oldershaw in a Brumos Porsche 917/10 would take to the track each for the first time.

The group descended down into the Green Hell once again. This time for the sixth edition of the Internationale Meisterschaft. Back at the Ferrari factory final preparations were being made in anticipation of the fifth running of the Internationale Meisterschaft. Crowds arrived early but the traffic was a killer.
Some had clever ideas with which to beat the traffic jam... like this Monogram salesperson who just needed a top up of that Sunoco Fuel...
Nevertheless with practice over the grids were formed and although there were enough marshals the penalty imposed for each crash...
